Vitamins, Minerals, and Nutrients... Oh My!

The importance of vitamins, minerals and nutrients.


The building blocks of you.

Even in your mother’s womb, you began developing with the help of vitamins, minerals and nutrients. And as you were a growing child, still you grew with vitamins, minerals and nutrients.


Now as an adult we all still need those things! Without adequate amounts of those vitamins and such we feel sluggish with no energy, we have no focus, no drive and may be tiered of everyday activities. If we are deficient in one vitamin then we can’t absorb others.


But there is good news! It’s never to late to start taking care of yourself! But where to start? It can be overwhelming so it’s best to start with a few things at a time.


So I’m challenging you to -


1. Eat better! Which is hard, I know. Work on trying to incorporate better whole foods into your diet. Dark leafy greens, grass fed butter/milk/meat and other veggies. These will help fortify you and your foundation of health. Add just one nutritious thing each week.


2. Drink your water!!! Try to add an extra glass of water every day! This will help flush toxins and improve your immune system, digestive system, and more.


3. Lastly, a great way to add vitamins and such to your diet is adding herbs. Herbs are packed with good stuff! They are natural so our body naturally knows how to absorb and put it to work! Personally, the Nettle Tincture is my daily multivitamin and it gives enervy. I take oatstraw tincture at night to help me sleep. I also add Elderberry syrup 2-3 times a day. And CBD in the morning and evening. It’s my routine. Yours will likely be different then mine. We add different things according to what time of year it is and whatever else is going on. Because, well, life happens.


There are many other things that I could suggest. But this is a great start to overall wellness.
